Want a free badminton club leaderboard your members will actually use? Rankat tracks every match, calculates ELO ratings automatically, and works for both singles and doubles, no spreadsheets, no clipboard at the front desk, no arguments about who's actually the club champion.
This is a quick walkthrough of how to set up your club's leaderboard from scratch. The whole thing takes about two minutes, and you can be playing your first ranked match before anyone even finishes warming up.
Download Rankat on the App Store or Google Play and sign up with your email.
Tap Create group, give the group a name, select your username and choose a group type: 1v1 for singles, or team-vs-team for doubles.
One player vs another. Best for badminton singles, ladder challenges and head-to-head club rankings.
Pair up differently every session, every player still keeps their own individual ranking. Perfect for club doubles and mixed doubles nights.
Every group has a unique join code. Share it in the club chat or pin it up next to the courts. Anyone with the code joins the leaderboard in seconds.
By default new members are auto-accepted, but you can turn that off in the group settings if you want admins to vet new players first.
Log the result after every match. ELO updates automatically, and beating a higher-ranked player earns you more points than beating a lower one.
